Hero! One word use to define a person who is ad-
mired or idealized for courage, outstanding achieve-
            ments, or noble qualities.
Policemen, firemen, doctors and military men and
women are often thought of as being heroes because
of their line of work and how they either save lives or
put their lives on the line to protect the lives of others.
But do you ever stop to think about the lives police of-
ficers live when they are not at work? Do you ever look
            beyond the badge?
Police men and women will tell you, they are just
like you and me. They are husbands, wives, mothers,
fathers, sons or daughters. They are summer league
baseball coaches and they are deacons in church.
Jarrett Bullock of Malden, is more than just the Chief
of Police for his community. He is a loving father to his
three children, Haley, Chapen and Griffin and a devot-
ed husband to his wife Amy. Chief Jarrett Bullock
