                                                                 refocused and “are dedicated, more than ever in commu-
                                                                 nity policing.”
                                                                   Chief Dennis added that he is proud of the support his
                                                                 men and women have received from the community. “The
                                                                 mayor and city council have supported my department, as
                                                                 well as all of the first responders in the community.”
                                                                   “Our responsibility,” Chief Dennis says “is protecting,
                                                                 leading, and serving our community, which leads me back
                                                                 to the police and the public are one.”
                                                                   Dennis continued by saying how pleasing it is for him
                                                                 to serve under the current administration of the city, as
                                                                 well as the men and women of his department. “It’s an
                                                                 honor to serve with a police force who puts their lives on
                                                                 the line every single day. They are all heroes,” chief Dennis
                                                                 concluded.
