strays are taken to Hardin County Animal Shelter.
The Hardin County Animal Shelter also features
adoptable animals on its website. The basic adoption fee
is $90 for dogs; $60-$75 for cats and include. spay-neuter
surgery, rabies vaccination, puppy or kitten vaccinations
and deworming, as well as a county license for dogs. An
adoption application must be completed before adopting
a dog from the shelter.
