Christmas in Columbia
The Columbia–Adair County Chamber of Com-
merce spreads holiday cheer each year on the first
Welcome Home weekend of December by sponsoring Christmas in
Columbia. For more than 25 years this event has
REAL ESTATE brought locals and visitors alike to downtown Colum-
bia for shopping, dining, arts and crafts and entertain-
ment as the community ushers in the Christmas
season. Highlights of the event include craft vendors
in the historic Adair County Courthouse, a children’s
carnival at Lindsey Wilson College and the ever pop-
ular and competitive night-time Christmas parade
known as the “Parade under the Lights.”
