            High Cost Of  Cable Television And Satellite Subscriptions That Are Rarely

                                      Billed At The Price We Agreed Upon

                  on’t you just love it when we do our homework and subscribe to a
                  television subscription service and then it is rarely billed at the price
         Dwe agreed upon? Or, it is billed at the agreed upon rate and then in a
         few short months, our bill increases when it was supposed to be a guaranteed
         rate for at least twelve months.

         About 50 million people in total will have dropped cable or satellite TV subscrip-
         tions by 2021. That’s almost 20 million more than today and 10 million more than
         researchers estimated for 2021 just last year.

         Customers have long cited the increasing price of  cable TV packages as the main
         reason for dropping the services. Add that to the fact that we have to constantly mon-
         itor our monthly bill to avoid being overcharged. Then, on top of that, we find that
         the channels we would really like to view have an extra charge involved.


         When you consider all of the problems and aggravations involved, most of us are
         deciding television subscriptions are simply not worth all of the headaches. Poor
         channel selection, terrible customer service, other subscription choices, and
         billing that is not what we agreed upon have made many of us cut the cord.

         The cable and satellite subscription companies are dinosaurs and are quickly going to
         go the way of Blockbuster. If many needed changes are not made to their services in
         the very new future they will just be a memory.

         Subscription companies: Stop your arrogance. We can live without you. Give us
         fair pricing and honest billing. Keep the monthly billing consistent and accurate.  Pro-
         vide more channel selections without gouging us for the channels you know are the
         ones we want to watch. Provide top quality customer service.
         Do these things and you just may survive for a while longer. Remain with your status
         quo, and you will be extinct much sooner than you believe.
