With ample land and water, Adair is ready for growth
From water to land, Adair
County is primed to welcome new
business and industry.
The Green River Commerce
Park is a joint effort by the city and
county government, a 311-acre mul-
tiple-site park ready for new tenants.
The city and county also teamed
up to form a join utilities commis-
sion that operates a fresh water plant
with a capacity rating of 5 million
gallons.
The Columbia-Adair County
Utility District continuously oversees
new projects to provide city and
county residents and businesses with
water and sewer. The City of Co-
lumbia provides natural gas to resi-
dents in the city limits and in parts
of the county.
