Homeplace is dedicated to
the protection and promotion of
rural American culture through
the sustainability of agriculture
and natural resources using edu-
cation, conservation and the
economic opportunities of agri-
tourism.
Homeplace showcases the
Taylor counties as well as that of
all of Kentucky. The 200-year-old
farm hosts several outdoor festi-
vals each year to showcase im-
provements that have been made
to the farm including annual
spring and fall festivals that draw
in thousands of spectators.
In April 2018, nearly 2,500
people enjoyed the beautiful
weather, sights, sounds and even
the smells emitting from Home-
place during its annual Plow Day
spring festival.
