Harvest Festival Brings History To Life

Every year in mid October, Heritage Village Museum in
Woodville hosts the Annual Harvest Festival. The Festival
is dedicated to celebrating the rich history of Tyler Coun-
ty through exhibitors, presenters, and displays. Heritage
Village represents a living history of East Texas life, circa
1840 - 1920. The event features pioneer crafts demonstra-
tions, artists, pottery, tatting, blacksmithing, wood carv-
ing, soap making, folk music, the Sassy Scrappers quilters,
spinners and weavers, and all of the permanent displays
