     library system.

     Learning Online. Developed through the Uni-
     versity of Georgia, GALILEO is the gateway to
     databases, legal and tax forms, language learning
     software, tutorial software, Ebooks, and Music
     downloads. A few of the databases include: geneal-
     ogy like Ancestory.com, Encyclopedias, Periodicals
     and Journals. MANGO, the language software,

     and music downloads are available through Fread-
     ing and Freegal.
       GALILEO is only one component of the virtual

     mation Network for Electronic Services (PINES).
     PINES is comprised of 284 participating libraries
     within the state of Georgia. This borderless library
     provides the freedom to check-out books from

     libraries are virtually connected, one could search
     for a book that may not be available at their local
     library, request the book and have it shipped for
     free to their local library. Checked material can be
     returned at any participating library.   A PINES li-
     brary card is the passport to access GALILEO and
     take advantages of the millions of books available
     through the PINES system.
       To obtain a PINES library card, one must visit
     their local library and have a Photo ID showing a
