“In 1996, my best friend Patrick Cargill and I
were on a private school trip to East Beach.
We were out about waist high when we saw
something shark-like jump up out of the
water about 10 feet from us, I say shark-like,
because I have no idea what it was. All I
know is you saw two 9 year old boys running
on the top of the waves to get to shore. Our
hearts were pumping blood and adrenaline.
I’ll never forget that, and neither does Pat.
What and awesome memory we still share
to this day over 40 years later!”
