OF THE MONTH
Getting Barraged With Way Too Many Questions At A Store Check Out Counter
We will continue to rail against the lack of cahiers in stores. If we wanted to
check out our own merchandize, we would apply for a job at the store.
Cashiers perform a very important service to us all. However, they are
instructed to do something at check out that is very irritating.
We have all had it happen. We wait in a long, slow line at a stores check out
counter. Then, when we get to the point where we are actually getting our
merchandize rang up, the barrage of questions come at us.
Would you like to use your store credit card?
Would you like to apply for a credit card?
What is your zip code?
What is your email address? (So our store can blast your email daily)
Some even ask for our phone number. Come on people, are you going to
check out our items or are you going to ask us out on a date?
Did you find everything you were looking for? Isn’t it a little bit too late to
ask that at this point? If your store would have provided us with any type of
customer service, we probably would have found everything. we wanted.
Would you like to donate to the one legged, Eskimo hobo fund?
It’s hard enough to find a cashier in a store these days. When we do find one
we want to accomplish one thing: Pay for our merchandize and get the heck
out of the store. We have other things we would like to be doing.
Do We Like It When We Get Hammered By A Bunch Of
Questions At Check Out?
WE DON’T
LIKE T HAT !
Stop with all the questions. Take our money and let us get on our
way. The people standing behind us in line would appreciate it
too.
Have a Pet Peeve ? Contact us at www.WavesGalveston.com and tell us about it. We just may use yours next month!
