          River Bend Golf Club combines some of the most unique play in the area with a
          course designed to provide an exciting golfing experience for players of all levels.
          A large putting green makes the Maverick a super practice area. Built in 2007 with
          18 holes, this semi-private course offers year-round golfing.

          Pecan Park covers an area of 9.22 acres of pecan trees, multiple picnic areas,
          two playgrounds and a half-mile track for walking, running or jogging.
          Floresville River Park, Lauro G. De Leon III Event Center,
          and Sports Complex
          The 33-acre Park that sits alongside the San Antonio River offers beautiful scenery and
          recreational amenities. It’s equipped with two pavilions and a full-service kitchen,
          which for a nominal fee can be rented for parties, family reunions, and other
          gatherings. Sports enthusiasts will enjoy the baseball, softball, tee ball and soccer
          fields.
          Floresville City Pool
          This beachfront-entry, junior Olympic sized pool offers fun and recreation for all
          ages. The pool also offers swimming lessons and aerobics classes for a nominal fee
          to children and adults of various ages and experience levels.

          Skate Park
          Floresville’s five-acre neighborhood skate-park features plenty of concrete skating surfaces,
          four picnic tables, and restrooms.

          John William Helton San Antonio River Nature Park
          Helton Nature Park is owned and operated by the San Antonio River Authority. This 98-
          acre park includes a 1.3 mile hike/bike trail, picnic tables, BBQ grills and wildlife viewing
          alongside large pecan orchards. Helton Nature Park also serves as a final take-out for the
          SASPAMCO Paddling Trail, a 12-mile-long paddling trail on the San Antonio River. The
          first access point is located at County Road 117, 9 miles south of Helton Nature Park: the
          2nd point will be found at Floresville River Park, 8 miles south of the CR 117 point.
