and progressive health care through the services of superb
healthcare practitioners, an exceptional hospital, and emer-
gency outpatient facilities.

Providers serve the county with a range of medical services
including outpatient labs, diagnostic testing, physical thera-
py, cardiac rehabilitation, diabetes education, cancer care,
hospice, pediatrics, imaging services, gynecology, urology,
dental care, and orthodontics. A neonatal intensive-care
unit is currently underway at Columbus Regional Health-
care System, the county’s full-service hospital.

Additionally, residents are eligible for a variety of services
through the Columbus County Health Department on a
sliding-fee scale.
