upped their Mardi Celebration after
being in business slightly over one
year. Galveston Golf Carts, LLC

concept of renting their golf carts
directly from the parking lot, allowing

entire downtown area via their rented
ride. Sharky’s, now famous, thin crust
gourmet pizzas will be hot and ready,
straight from the shark oven’s mouth.
Frozen drinks, hurricanes, beer and
other drink specials will be available
along with live music and a generous
amount of covered seating directly
on the parade route.

he road to Mardi Gras is expectedly paved with beads and baubles. Galveston Mardi Gras is a family event
by day and evening and an adult soiree by night with unique and unexpected places to enjoy the parade and
T find treasures that only the Island has to offer. Along 25th street, in the historical downtown Strand area, the
parades make their way to the festival area, but it also offers many free, out of the gates opportunities for catching the
prized beads or “throws”, which date back to traditions of the 1920’s.
