         Every year the National BBQ and Grilling Association
         hosts the Awards of Excellence, acknowledging the
         commercial side of BBQ. The annual conference was
         held April 3-6 at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown
         in Kansas City, MO. Categories including digital media
         like photography, video and social media content, BBQ
         tools, best rubs and sauces, etc. are judged by a panel
         of professionals in the industry. National and interna-
         tional companies showcase their products or services to
         compete for the top three places to win the coveted Gold,
         Silver or Bronze medallions. 3rd-6th place get honorable
         mention calls and receive a certificate. Texas Select
         Seasonings of  Galveston County received top honors
         in the Pork category winning Gold for the Juicy
