Saltwater Grill
While the emphasis in on seafood, meat lovers will not
be disappointed with their other menu selections. Several
cuts of steak are available and get rave reviews for their
flavor, marbling and tenderness. All are expertly cooked
to your specifications and can be paired with seafood for
some interesting Surf and Turf combinations. Creative
chicken entrees are also offered for those that do not
prefer red meat.
Daily lunch specials are a real bargain and usually include
a fresh fish filet with a creative sauce and their signature
garlic sautéed spinach.
Happy hour is well attended by locals who know a bar-
gain. Their drink prices are reasonable and they have a
menu of specially priced appetizers. Their fried asparagus
spears and their calamari are two of my favorites.
Their location across the street from the Grand 1894
Opera House makes them a good choice for a pre show
dinner or drink. They are accustomed to theater goers
with a tight schedule so be sure to tell them if you have a
Showtime you need to meet.
Located directly on the Galveston Trolley route, they are
easily accessible from the beach hotels by trolley or by car
or taxi. If you prefer to take out they offer a full menu on
WAITR for to your door service.
We dine regularly at Saltwater Grill. It is a favorite of this
author. I can truly say I have never been disappointed
with the food or service. Saltwater Grill
