                                                            Broadway. Tom and Lina Weaver enjoyed long weekends
                                                            of  fishing and enjoying the island, so what better way to
                                                            spend more time on the island and provide a service to
                                                            the community they grew to love and appreciate than to
                                                            open a store? Over 35 years ago, that decision laid the
                                                            path  to  four  expansions  from their original  Galveston
                                                            Flooring  store  to  the  grand  showroom  and  warehouse
                                                            that now houses Galveston Flooring and Furniture. The
                                                            dedication to customers and the integrity shown through
                                                            years of  working with their beloved customers has grown
                                                            their business into a place that people respect and expect
                                                            to always be sitting on Broadway, even if  it’s just to stop
                                                            and say hello. “”We strive to give people good service and
                                                            make them happy,” Lina said, as she and Tom reminisced
                                                            about  customers becoming  like  family.  “We  made  them
                                                            feel that good and they do the same for us,” said Tom.
