The Farley Girls Cafe
my personal favorite with ripe flavorful tomatoes, bright
basil, stringy rich mozzarella cheese and a perfect crust.
Another favorite the mile high meatloaf takes that pedes-
trian dish to a new high with a tangy barbecue sauce and
crispy shoestring onions. Several seafood offerings have
Asian, Cajun and Mexican nuances. Their special take on
shrimp and grits draws rave reviews across local social
media.
The service model is the increasingly popular “stand in
line, place your order at the counter” configuration which
adds delay as people struggle with indecision or multiple
menu questions. After you place your order and pay, you
are issued a numbered placard and find a seat and pro-
ceed to the self service beverage bar.Your food is brought
to you along with utensils when your order is ready.
The restaurant is housed in a tastefully repurposed histor-
ical building that adds a bright and cheerful atmosphere
to your dining experience. There are several dining rooms
and an upstairs banquet facility that can host groups and
special functions. They have a robust catering business
that can meet your needs for large or small gatherings.
Off-street complimentary parking is major advantage in
the crowded historical east end neighborhood.
Drop by and enjoy this delightful locally owned restaurant.
Be sure to say hello to the girls. They are always around to
ensure you have a wonderful dining experience.
